Would love to share with you, my 3 Days 2 Night Trip to Chungcheong Province, where I had visited the following cities.

Day 1

One thing you must do is to fill up your tummy with all the traditional snacks and there is a place near with tons of eateries nearby located in the traditional houses. (Direction: from the main gate, turn to your left and walk along the river till you see numerous traditional houses)

Makan again!

Alright, this time round is this delicious 손두부(hand made toufu stew) at 시골손두부.

Tips: Leave a little of soup behind, add their infamous peanut paste and mix it! The taste is deliciouso!

The Independence Hall of Korea(독립기념관) have 7 exhibition halls that showcase the Korean historical documents and relics and emphasizing on the independence movement(3/1) of the Japanese Colonial Period.

Do also try out the Choo Choo train ride and check out the 4D theater.

Day 2

Went to a place called gong ju, which in Korea means princess, or yeah in Chinese 公主, my name in Philippines.ㅋ

In the Tomb of King Muryeong,who ruled the Baekje Kingdom , i had an enjoyable tour with a tour guide that speaks excellent English.

We also went to the
Gongju Gongsanseong Fortress listed as the UNESCO World Heritage. Enjoyed myself playing archery with arrows flying everywhere hahaha

Lunched at 새이학(sae I hak) garden and had enjoyed my favorite Korean beef soup, but this time round in gong ju style. The taste is just just just so so yummy

Finally, I had my long awaited spa treatments at the Boryeong Mud Festival!!!!!! There are tons of activities for you to get close with mud and of course you can show your appreciation to your friends by giving them some personalised treatment and I bet they will not hesitate to return your favor.

After the festival, there was a row of restaurants along the beach. I had my date with mr crab at a very delicious restaurant called 대천 풍미식당 dae cheon pungm restaurant that serves the local food like the crab and cabbage stew I had.

Stayed in onyang hot springs hotel, and had a fabulous night with my three adorable Vietnamese roommates and also the rest of the group.
Guests are able to enjoy the hot springs at only 4200Korean won.

Day 1

Lunched at Han Jeong sik is something that will amazed you with lots of colourful and delicious Korean dishes.

Next, we went to 영동국악체험관 Yeong dong Korean classical music experience , where you can enjoy learning, making Korean instrument and visiting the world largest drum, certified by the Guinness World Record.

After which, we went MAKAN!
Waterfall garden 폭포가든, is a restaurant located near a waterfall. My favorite dish is the snail in soya bean paste.

Lastly, we ended out day with a chance meet these lovely ah gong and ah ma here. They are so friendly and sweet that no sugar is needed to be added into my coffee when I think of them. Probably going should set myself a target to take pictures and have a chit chat session with the locals every trip. 

So back to the main topic, I met them at the suamgol mural village at Cheong ju. A place you must visit when you are here, as the facade of the houses here are decorated with wall painting. One advice is to come before 9pm, since this is a residential area with many elderly^^ Also there is a cafe street with the infamous cafe , fullmoon cafe, serving irresistibly delicious cheese shaved ice ♡♥

Getting a Driver's license in Korea

There are a lot of friends here asking me about LEARNING DRIVING IN KOREA. This is the school,강북삼성자동차운전전문학원, that my beautiful sister recommended me and also the place where I learn and got my driving license. (YEAH I GOT IT, look out. haahah joking. Dont worry, I dont have a car, not even a toy car)

How do I go there?

There is free shuttle bus with several pick up points, but please call the driver in advance.

On the first day, the staff was really nice explaining to me everything in detail and I decided to choose Type 1(Manual), although he said is more difficult.

Everything is held in the academy except for Theory Test(English is offered) and receiving the license. I did my test and license at Nowon, but there are several office. so do check out this website:https://www.koroad.or.kr/en_web/index.do

The lesson taught here will be all in Korean and fortunately, they gave me a CD that is in english for my theory FREE, he is really very kind.

I have to pay 320,000won by card and 37,000won in CASH, only cash as it is for insurance coverage and etc.

The whole program consists of r5 hours of class before taking my theory test, and there will be 3 lessons of driving before I take my practical test.

The whole process takes less than a month.

Regarding conversion of license, I first converted my license into an international license. following that, there is also several documentations needed together with a basic theory test in Singapore. I received my license by post in Jan 2015. However, I am not sure if the regulations is still the same.

Seomjingang Train VillagE

In the Seomjingang Train Village, I had an awesome experience staying in a pension which is actually a train cabin, enjoying my rail bike, taking a steam engine train and visiting the rose park.

Gokseong Seomjingang observatory

Felt like a kid again, getting extremely excited when I saw Saturn, the real Saturn for the first time in my life. Enjoyed my visit and the the astronomical experience program in the Gokseong Seomjingang observatory. One session was about reading our zodiac sign through stars and for mine, I was really impressed how beautiful it looked like and if you are wondering what my zodiac let me tell you it is cat.

Love bamboo like how pandas do, Damyang will be a perfect place for you.

There are many bamboo forests over here, hence many dishes uses either bamboo or bamboo shoots.

Here are the top 3 foods that I love and a must try went you visit here.

Bori Bibimbap

Bori which means Boiled barley and Bibimbap means mixed rice, therefore together it is called Bori Bibimbap. It was said that a perfect meal after hiking Mt Medung, will be bibimbap and a cool "Dongdongju", a Korean liquor.

Gwangju Kimchi Festival

Coming to Korea, you should definitely try KIMCHI! As many of us know, kimchi is a traditional fermented Korean dish made of vegetables with a variety of seasonings . But do you know that there are more than 180 type of Kimchi.

Last week, I went to the Gwangju Kimchi Festival and learnt that Gwangju kimchi famous for its spicy taste, so spicy lover please keep a look out for it!

Not only did I taste various kind of kimchi and watching various exhibit,I had also made kimchi and learning how to cook delicious dishes using Kimchi with my dearest.

If you are my good friend, you should know I can never be associated with the word "cook". But I did it this time and as usual, it is always accompanied with my favorite verb "eat". grin emoticon

The Summer Universiade Gwangju 2015

The Summer Universiade Gwangju 2015 is an international sports and cultural festival where university students from all around the word gathers in Gwangju, a city of passion.

Been honored to be invited to the opening ceremony, I was thrilled and had enjoyed the performances especially the K-pop performance by you know you know you know, Block B...... It was a memorable night with my loved one.

Ariul Story

Had enjoyed myself watching the Ariul Story,a non verbal performance which mix of culture and art of flower from the Saemangeum seawall(the longest seawall in the world). The actress was really really pretty and was very immersed with the story line. Felt so delighted that the story ended up with an ending that I desired.

Visit the Chowon Photoshop when you are in Gunsan!
This is the filming location of the drama Christmas in August,Yeah Christmas in August not December!

Also, you could enjoy photo taking by this adorable handsome gentleman. I swear he is very adorable and friendly. How I wish I could take a photo with him^^ but he was very busy when I visited the place
